Job Description:
We are searching for an Intern SEO Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of SEO concepts and best practices. They should be capable of implementing effective SEO strategies to boost organic search rankings and drive traffic to our website.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for on-page and off-page optimization.
- Optimize website content, including headlines, meta descriptions, and body copy, to improve organic search visibility.
- Develop and execute link building strategies to increase the number and quality of inbound links to our website.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics and other SEO tools.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, web developers, and designers, to implement SEO strategies.
- Write and edit SEO-optimized content, including blog articles, product descriptions, and landing pages.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 0-1 years of experience in SEO.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
- Experience using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or SEMrush.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze data to make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
